Has Amy Winehouse embraced Scientology?

Recent press reports suggest that troubled singer Amy Winehouse has followed her off-again-on-again ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil (currently in rehab) into a new-found belief in Scientology. The controversial Church of Scientology has many celebrity followers, including John Travolta and Tom Cruise to name but a few.

According to sources close to Amy the press have managed to dig up, the singer will adopt anything Fielder-Civil thinks or believes without question, leading many to worry about her being led astray (again).

Well, whatever you believe about Scientology as a credible ‘religion’; it is at least less physically damaging than copious drug-taking.

Cultures are becoming more popular

Cultures that reside around the world are becoming more popular day by day. Of course some will disappear but others will become more popular. There are many reasons for this amongst which are that

  • people think certain cultures are cool
  • People like certain food and dishes from different cultures
  • people get more peace in following a certain culture
  • people who are lonely like to a certain culture due to it’s community involvement with each other
  • And there are many more reasons.

What do you think, are you aware of 10 cultures in the United Kingdom or do you know many more that this?

Culture and Food

Many people are not aware but a lot of the food you find in the world and all the different sort of dishes that are available; many of them are cultural to the country and nationality.

Take for example, Chicken Tikka Masala. This dish comes from the Indian subcontinent and can be found all over the world however people recognise it as an Indian dish. (Side Note: Indian food was voted the best food in the world! With Chinese food coming in at a number two.)

So next time you see some food in the international line in the major supermarkets, try ans guess the culture!

Assasinations?

Many people are under the impression that the many assassination that take place in the world are due to faith and culture but the big question – Is this true?

Since it has been mentioned over and over again and has echoed in the ears of people over the years, it become habit to think that it’s true.

One thing to note is that there is no solid evidence available to prove this point and there probably never will be so don’t you think it’s time to have a more open mind towards these things?

I’ll leave that to you! Fin.

What is Culture?

There are many different definitions for the word Culture but most of them are not correct and many that are written are depended on a persons circumstances.

Now thinking about this, almost all the definitions in the world for Culture are incorrect and sometimes even a load of rubbish!

Saying this, the definition for Culture needs to be general as each culture will have a different definition and we can’t have this in language so whoever chooses the definition needs to make sure it’s very general.

You have to agree with me on this one. Otherwise, leave me a comment as to why not!

Some of the Worlds Craziest Religions?

The Jedi Church or Jediism
Yes, you read that right, Jedi. Light sabers, robes and The Force. Those Jedi. They exist, though if they have light sabers, they’re not admitting to it.

Oneida Community
In 1848 John Humphrey Noyes founded a Utopian commune based on the idea that Jesus Christ had already returned to mankind in the year 70 AD, meaning they were free to live a perfect life without sin on Earth as well as in Heaven.

Discordianism
Discordianism is a religion based on the idea that Chaos is the only force in the universe and that disorder and order are merely illusions.

Shakers
The Shakers or “Shaking Quakers” were an offshoot of the Quaker faith, which itself was an offshoot of Protestantism. The name is taken from a mocking referral to their demonstrative style of worship that included ritual acts of shouting, trembling, shaking, singing, dancing and speaking in tongues.

Why some people don’t like cultures

Why is it that there are some people in the world that absolutely hate cultures and what it involves and do not want to hear anything about cultures or will not talk to people who follow a culture or who hate cultures very much and will not even sit/look at a person who follows a culture?

Well the main reason is that they have had a very bad experience in the past which involved a person who “follow’s” a culture. Now according to them, it was the culture that forced a person to do something evil however generally it is their person and not the culture.

Are cultures interesting?

A basic question for all the readers today. Are cultures interesting?

You might think it’s a silly question but think about this for one moment. The answer depends on many, many factors such as:

  • The type of person you are
  • If you yourself are strongly part of one culture
  • If you were part of one culture
  • Your specialty in Education
  • Where you were brought up
  • The country you live in
  • The people you interact with on a daily basis

These are the basics and you can go much more into detail for this.
