Some of the Worlds Craziest Religions?

The Jedi Church or Jediism
Yes, you read that right, Jedi. Light sabers, robes and The Force. Those Jedi. They exist, though if they have light sabers, they’re not admitting to it.

Oneida Community
In 1848 John Humphrey Noyes founded a Utopian commune based on the idea that Jesus Christ had already returned to mankind in the year 70 AD, meaning they were free to live a perfect life without sin on Earth as well as in Heaven.

Discordianism
Discordianism is a religion based on the idea that Chaos is the only force in the universe and that disorder and order are merely illusions.

Shakers
The Shakers or “Shaking Quakers” were an offshoot of the Quaker faith, which itself was an offshoot of Protestantism. The name is taken from a mocking referral to their demonstrative style of worship that included ritual acts of shouting, trembling, shaking, singing, dancing and speaking in tongues.

Is Religion Dying?

Many people may argue the case with this statement but research is showing this is the truth. Alot of research has been carried out to look into this especially in America where reports are stating that religious observance is at an all-time low.

Two thirds of Americans no longer attend religious services with any regularity and ten percent assert they do not believe in God at all. Fifteen percent of Americans say they have no religion, double the percentage in 1990.

All though this is just research carried out in America it is happening everywhere and proof of this in the United Kingdom Is by the amount of local community churches being shut down and few numbers actually attending mass.

Faith has helped keep many countries’ strong and we should not turn our backs on history or we will come to regret the future. The role of religion has been enormously beneficial, and its value must not be ignored.
